Helping Dogs and People Play Through!

Wags and Walks is focused on advocating for wrongfully stereotyped bully breeds, medical dogs, and mamas + puppies that are often overlooked and at-risk due to overcrowding. We do not select dogs based on their size, age, or breed. We select our dogs on a case-by-case basis, factoring in our ability to help and their likelihood of thriving when placed in the right home.

We know that, like amazing dogs, loving families come in all shapes and sizes. Our goal is to find every pup an adopter whose home, family, and lifestyle are a perfect fit for a lifetime of love and happiness.

Adopt Feta! This gentle 1-year-old, 49lb female Pittie mix is eager to find her forever home! Despite being deaf, Feta’s world is still full of joy, playfulness, and affection. She is a loving and spunky girl who finds a friend in anybody she meets, human or dog! Feta loves to run around the yard, play with other pups, and bask in the sunshine. Sunbathing is one of her favorite activities, and she often finds the perfect sunny spot to relax and soak up the warmth. She loves to be close to her humans, often climbing into your lap for attention and showering you with kisses. While her deafness means she experiences the world differently, Feta’s ability to adapt and connect is no struggle for this friendly gal. Feta is potty trained and does well in the crate.
